Grade 1: Units of Measurement
In cooking, we use different ways to measure our ingredients. One of them is the pint. A pint is a unit of volume, which means it measures how much space something takes up. It’s equal to 16 fluid ounces. A pound, on the other hand, is a unit of weight, which means it measures how heavy something is. It’s equal to 16 ounces. So, if you want to know how many pints are in a pound, you can’t convert them directly because they measure different things.
