Summit Station Greenland is a research facility located on the Greenland Ice Sheet. It is operated by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is used by scientists from around the world to study climate change, atmospheric science, and glaciology. The station is located at an elevation of 3,216 meters (10,551 feet) and is home to a year-round staff of scientists and support personnel.
