The group aggression cycle is a dynamic process involving individuals, groups, aggressors, victims, and other entities that influence aggression within group settings. Understanding the closeness of these entities to the cycle provides insights into the factors that trigger, escalate, or mitigate aggression. These entities include individuals’ motivations, group dynamics, aggressors’ characteristics, victims’ experiences, social norms, power dynamics, competition, bystanders’ roles, dehumanization, and intergroup conflict. By examining the interconnections between these entities, we can develop strategies to address aggression effectively in group settings.
